A true cross-platform application, WorkBook supports multiple mobile operating systems – Windows, iOS, or Android – on various form factors, including touch-enabled smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
Instant access to assigned work
Workers have instant access to their assigned work, including new work orders assigned throughout the day. Additionally, WorkBook supports worker autonomy by allowing users to visualize and assign additional work to themselves when they have additional capacity, improving worker productivity and the efficiency of field operations.
Working in areas without wireless coverage
WorkBook is designed for seamless operation, even in areas with intermittent or no wireless coverage. Users can complete their work and have access to their maps even when they are offline. When back online, their work is automatically sent to the office and GIS asset information on their devices is synchronized.
GIS integration and overlays
WorkBook is provisioned with ArcGIS Runtime so field technicians have access to GIS overlays and can get optimized routing directions. GIS integration enables WorkBook users to easily identify, search and filter GIS assets, redline and annotate maps, trace assets upstream and downstream for faster restoration of outages, and create inspection and maintenance orders from the field.
