Clevest Named in 2020 List of Best Workplaces for Women

Clevest - Best Workplaces for WomenClevest is excited to announce that we have been named on the 2020 list of Best Workplaces™ for Women, compiled after an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work®.

As an anchor member of BC’s tech sector, we have made strides to hire and invest in women at Clevest. Doing so means we have access to a highly qualified talent pool, and it allows us to consider multiple perspectives when solving tough problems.

The BC Tech Association estimates that women make up only 18 percent of the tech workforce in BC. But at Clevest we are very proud of our track record:

  • 50% average in hiring women over the past two years
  • 50% of our directors are women
  • 40% of our mid-managers are women

How the list was compiled

The Best Workplaces for Women list is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by Great Place to Work®. The data has a 90% confidence and a plus or minus 5% margin of error.  To be eligible organizations must be Great Place to Work Certified™ in the past year, have a minimum of 15 female employees, and at least 90% of employees feel that their workplace is safe and people are treated fairly regardless of their gender. They compiled the list based the overall Trust Index score from female respondents, as well as their company’s programs and practices that promote the fair treatment and advancement of women.
