Clevest Solutions Inc. Mobile Field Force Optimization Solution named best in class winner in the Sierra Wireless and Wavefront Developer program
Richmond, BC, Canada; December 19, 2008 -- Clevest debuted its Mobile Field Force Optimization Solution as a best-in-class application during demonstrations hosted by Sierra Wireless at its Richmond, B.C. facility for the five winners of the Wavefront-Sierra Wireless Developer program.
During a competitive six-month process Clevest Solutions Inc. worked with the developer program manager to benefit from the training, testing and advisory services provided by Wavefront in Vancouver, and the PC cards, ExpressCards, and USB modems provided by Sierra Wireless, to advance its application development.

The Mobile Field Force Optimization Solution allows mobile workers to electronically communicate with dispatch as well as corporate ERP on a real-time basis thus reducing redundant data-entry, eliminate paper and achieve optimum resource utilization. This application is designed for the small and mid-sized Utilities markets and will be an exciting complement to Sierra Wireless products.
The Sierra Wireless - Wavefront Developer Program was established to find best-in-class enterprise or consumer applications that take advantage of the mobile broadband and GPS capabilities built into Sierra Wireless PC cards, ExpressCards, and USB modems. 48 Companies from 11 countries entered the contest. All finalists were provided with a Sierra Wireless mobile broadband adapter and a software development kit, as well as support from Sierra Wireless and Wavefront to assist in building their applications. Winners are provided with co-marketing support from Sierra Wireless, including the opportunity to demonstrate their applications within the Sierra Wireless booths at upcoming Mobile World Congress and CTIA trade shows and to have their applications presented to Sierra Wireless’s network operator customers.
