Sales Support Engineer:
Clevest is looking for an outstanding Sales Support Engineer to join our growing team.
The selected candidate will be technically strong, communicate well, work well as an individual and as part of a team.
You will acquire a complete understanding of our software, architecture, supporting hardware, and the advantages of our solution relative to our competitors. The Sales Support Engineer acts as the technical interface between the sales organization and all other company departments.
Travel in North America is required. This position reports to the VP Sales & Marketing.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create industry templates and configurations of the Clevest Mobile Field Force product
- As a product expert you will support sales efforts in complex technical demonstrations for customers, partners and prospects. Presentations will be via web and on site at locations around NA
- Assist with the development of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs etc.
- Deploy and support multiple solution instances for sales efforts including Trial -deployments, Proof of Concepts, Pilots and Reseller initiatives
- Research hardware and wireless communication technologies
- Create and maintain competitive comparisons
- Document future product needs and work with Product Management to facilitate enhancements
- Review, test and create content for Clevest technical knowledgebase.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
An understanding of Mobile Field Force solutions, Smart Grid, GIS, Scheduling and/or Electric, Water or Gas Utility operations substantial assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action
- Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member
- Conversant about company, competitors, technologies, solutions, product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
- Technical sales experience, particularly RFP/RFI preparation and presentation experience.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience required
- Post secondary education in Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience recommended
- Knowledge of .NET, SQL, SAP, Oracle and mobile devices an asset
