Position Profile:
We have an immediate opportunity for a Customer Support Engineer, to join our growing team, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Candidates will be asked to perform:
- Provide telephone support to customers in North America
- Troubleshooting of software applications employing the latest mobile technologies
- Diagnosing problems and reporting software defects
- Other duties as assigned
Candidates should have the following skills and knowledge, gained through a combination of educational and practical experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work closely with clients and internal staff to communicate technical issues
- Knowledge of client-server mobile software applications is an asset
- Familiarity with the general field service and/or utilities industry is an asset
- Availability for limited travel to customer sites, primarily in North America
- Self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
"Nice to have" familiarity with:
- Mobile devices
- XML technologies; web services
- Reports creation
- Relational databases
- Debugging tools, reading error logs
