Project Manager – Richmond

Position description 

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager (PM), to join our growing team, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a valuable member of a core customer facing group, the PM will lead a team to successfully configure, test and implement Clevest’s solutions. The PM is expected to succeed in complex technical environments and have prior enterprise software implementation experience.​

The PM will perform and lead site visits/​meetings as needed to kick off implementation processes and will be responsible for end-to-end implementation of our software solutions into client environments.

The PM will assist our customer support team with escalated issues and serve as a valuable resource for our training and development team.​ The position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and is detail and outcome oriented.

 Responsibilities

  • Ensures client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise
  • Status reporting to Program Management about the progress of new clients implementations
  • Operate as a consultant with internal partners and clients to define and implement solutions that balance client needs with the product road map and standard offering
  • Cultivate internal relationships across departments in order to resolve client issues efficiently
  • Work directly with clients to validate requirements, provide custom configurations in unique environments and lead training on the use of the system
  • Develop rich understanding of client business requirements and facilitate required transition to ongoing client support team
  • Operate as a consultant with internal partners and clients to define and implement solutions that balance client needs with the product road map and standard offering
  • Assist with proposals, pre-sales, preliminary scoping of projects, provide services quotes and SOWs /project plans as required
  • As a team member, assist other Implementation team members as required and contribute to product improvement via documentation
  • Inspire by setting an example of how to create satisfied clients
  • Drive compliance and standards with processes, policies, tools and team within the company

Requirements

Candidates should have the following skills and knowledge, gained through a combination of educational and practical experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • PMP designation is an asset
  • Ability to work closely with clients and internal staff to communicate technical issues
  • Knowledge of client-server mobile software applications is an asset
  • Familiarity with the general field service and/or utilities industry is an asset
  • Interest and ability to travel to customer sites, primarily in North America
  • Self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
