Business Analyst – Richmond

Clevest seeks an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join our client services team.
As a valuable member of a core customer-facing group, the BA will utilize a well defined implementation process to successfully define customer business requirements. The BA is expected to succeed in complex technical environments, have prior enterprise software implementation experience, and be knowledgeable about understanding and gathering customer’s business and integration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as industry workforce management functional expert during project implementation, fielding questions from the project team and the client
- The BA will perform and lead requirements workshops at customer sites and document detailed requirements documentation and gain client approval via sign-off
- Operate as a consultant with internal partners and clients to define solutions that balance client needs with the product road map and standard offering
- Act as backup to our training team, to lead training on the use of the system
- Develop acceptance test plans based on client requirements and business practices
- Identify and manage assigned project issues and risks; provide status updates to the Project Manager
- Cultivate internal relationships across departments in order to resolve client issues efficiently
- Develop rich understanding of client business requirements and facilitate required transition to the project team and the ongoing client support team
- Inspire by setting an example of how to create satisfied clients
- Drive compliance and standards with processes, policies, tools and team within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or closely related discipline
- A minimum of five (5) years of business analysis experience in a similar technology industry environment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Detail- and outcome-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work closely with clients and internal staff to communicate technical issues
- Familiarity with the general field service and utilities industries is required
- Knowledge of asset management is required
- Knowledge of client-server mobile software applications is an asset
- Knowledge of integration requirements is an asset
- Interest and ability to travel to customer sites, primarily in North America (expected travel 25 – 50%)
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
