Paul Blanchet

Paul Blanchet

Paul Blanchet has over 25 years of senior executive experience. He currently is Vice President Operations for iCompass Technologies. Paul has held positions at several technology growth companies including MDI Mobile Data International, MDSI Mobile Data Solutions (now ABB-Ventyx) and eMobile (which was sold to Itron, Inc., one of the largest metering technology suppliers to the municipal and utility markets). Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Erik Dysthe

Erik Dysthe

Erik Dysthe has over 30 years of senior executive experience including 20 years in mobile workforce management. He is currently Chairman for Wurldtech, a provider of cyber-security testing and certification solutions for critical industries such as energy and transportation. Erik has held several senior management positions, including building MDI Mobile Data International’s business in Europe into a major part of the company’s business prior to its acquisition by Motorolla, and as founder, CEO and Chairman of MDSI Mobile Data Solutions (now ABB-Ventyx). During its fifteen years, MDSI became a leader in the mobile workforce management space, supplying electric, gas and water utilities, and telecommunications and cable operators worldwide. Erik is a member of the board of directors for a number of private companies in the technology and energy industries. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration from Concordia University in Montreal.

Jim Thompson

Jim Thompson

Jim Thompson brings over 30 years of senior executive experience in high-growth, technology-based businesses. He has held senior management positions ranging from President and CEO to VP Finance and CFO, following earlier roles as Controller, Product Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing. His experience includes working with public and private companies, delivering hardware and software products as well as managed services and systems worldwide. Of specific relevance is Jim’s experience as the CFO of Itron, Inc., one of the largest metering technology suppliers to the municipal and utility markets. While with Itron Jim guided many corporate transactions and financings, including their IPO and secondary offering, through a period of exceptional growth. Originally a civil engineer from McGill University in Montreal, Jim also has an MBA from Stanford University. He is currently active with several emerging growth companies as an investor, mentor and director.

Gary Yurkovich

Gary Yurkovich

Gary Yurkovich is an experienced and successful executive in the technology industry. Previously, Gary was the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for Creo Products where he helped grow the company from $6M to over $125M in revenue over a 3 year period prior to being purchased by Kodak for $1B. He was also the VP Sales and Corporate Development for BrightSide Technologies, which was purchased for $28M by Dolby Labs in 2007, and was also COO of Resolution Health in San Jose, CA which was recently purchased by Wellpoint. Gary started his career with Digital Equipment Corporation where he served in a variety of management and operational positions, and was one of the most highly recognized contributors in the company’s history. He is a BCIT graduate in Electronics and has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of British Columbia. He is a partner at Espresso Capital Partners and is a member of the board for several technology companies.
